CUPIDE is an alternate name for the UNESCO-UWI project for the Enhancement of Human Resource Development in Distance Teaching, Administration and Materials Distribution, funded through the Japanese Funds in Trust for Capacity Building.
 
Local e-Governance in the Caribbean
Specialized Course on Local e-Governance in the Caribbean - a joint initiative by The University of the West Indies Distance Education Centre (UWIDEC) and the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
 
iJEDICT
The International Journal of Education and Development using Information and Communication Technology (IJEDICT) is an e-journal that provides free and open access to all of its content.
 
The Multimedia CD Project
The OAS-funded Multimedia CD Project utlilizes the technology and skills in the actual production of ten (10) multi-media CDs to complement the UWIDEC’s print-based and web-based delivery of ten (10) courses commencing September 2005.
 
The Fourth Pan Commonwealth Forum on Open Learning
The Fourth Pan Commonwealth Forum on Open Learning will be Co-hosted by the Commonwealth of Learning (COL) together with a Caribbean Consortium comprising: CARADOL, JADOL, TTDLA, CEODL and UWIDEC. The theme for the conference is "Open and Distance Learning for Development".
